Морской Змей
Морские змеи являются, наряду с Морскими драконами, сородичами крылатых драконов, правивших морями этого мира ещё до прихода Древних. Хранители Знаний верят, что раньше эти древние чудовища наводняли весь Великий Океан, но сейчас ходят лишь редкие слухи о том, как какой-нибудь моряк терял корабль и команду из-за них. У Морских змеев длинные, мускулистые и покрытые чешуей тела с четыремя относительно небольшими когтистыми лапами. В отличии от своих известных собратьев, у них нет крыльев, зато благодаря строению тела они способны очень быстро передвигаться под водой или, если голод заставит, волочиться по земле в поисках добычи. Морские змеи очень выносливы, способны адаптироваться к местности и в краткие сроки залечивать свои раны благодаря повышенному метаболизму и большому аппетиту. Многие из них очень ядовиты, а в расцветке преобладает серебрянно-зеленые оттенки.
Обычно их можно найти в опасных водах Моря Когтей, но когда их мучает голод они могут пожирать жителей прибрежных деревень Нордланда. Но существуют и другие виды Морских Змеев, живущих по всему миру, например как обитающий в холодных морях Наггарота Ледяной Змей-альбинос.Азур способны подчинить себе волю Морских змеев и призвать к себе на помощь, как это делают с Морскими драконами друкай.
